"Nichneven" a Samhain witch-goddess also called "divine" and "brilliant".

Also known in the Middle Ages as: Dame Habonde, Abundia, Satia, Bensozie, Zobiana, Perchta or Herodiana. Other variations on spelling include Nicevenn, Nicheven, as well as the intimates 'Nich' 'Nichy', or 'Nichie'.

In Italy, Perchta has become La Befana, who visits all the children of Italy on the eve of 6 January to fill their socks with candy if they are good or a lump of coal if they are bad.

Folk tales say she rides through the night with her followers on Samhain Eve. She is sometime seen as the goddess of growing things.
